Public Library Standards
The Montana Public Library Standards (Subchapter 10.102.11 Public Library Development) are adopted by the State Library Commission into the Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM).
The Montana Public Library Standards constitute the basic level of service and conditions that public and accredited tribal college libraries must meet to receive state aid and/or library federation funding.

These rules, or ARM, have been updated over the years as professional standards, funding structures, and other factors have changed. You can find the history of each rule at the end of each section.
