Discussion Questions
- How do we determine which community needs to prioritize, and what evaluation tools (such as surveys, listening sessions, demographic data, or partner feedback) help us confirm that our outreach efforts align with those needs?
- What methods can we use to evaluate whether our community partnerships are effective and mutually beneficial—for example, shared goals check-ins, partner debriefs, or co-created outcome measures?
- How can we assess whether our outreach strategies are successfully engaging non users or underserved groups, and what indicators (participation numbers, repeat engagement, qualitative stories) help us understand our progress?
- How do we define success for an outreach initiative, and what tools or metrics can help us evaluate whether we are genuinely meeting community needs?
- How do we evaluate the responsiveness of our outreach work, and what feedback mechanisms (focus groups, informal conversations, partner led reviews) can help us understand community perceptions?
- After outreach events or programs, what follow-up evaluation practices (post-event surveys, outcome mapping, partner debriefs, participant tracking) help us understand long term engagement and guide decisions for future outreach efforts?
