Youth Services Basics Authors:
- Cathy Lancaster has been the Youth Services Coordinator at the Library of Michigan since 2016, where she provides training and resources to youth service librarians across the state. She began her profession in public libraries in 2003.
- Kate Greene Smith has been the Youth Services & Special Projects Coordinator for the Tennessee State Library & Archives since 2015. She has previous experience in education and journalism.
- Beth Yates is the Children’s Consultant for the Indiana State Library, where she provides professional development opportunities and best practices advice to youth services staff across the state. Prior to that, she worked in public libraries and has been in the library field since 2004.
