Join Dr. Tammy Elser for an insightful session on strengthening early literacy through practical, research-informed strategies. Drawing from more than four decades in K–12 education and 15 years in higher education, Dr. Elser specializes in the development of emergent readers and the powerful role early writing plays in children’s literacy growth.
She will demonstrate simple reading instructional strategies for librarians - appealing to home schooling parents and also child care and pre-school or even K-2 teachers or tutors of older struggling readers.
Participants will be enrolled in the course by MSL Staff.
Credit is issued upon completion of the course evaluation.
